Ready for anything!

It was a wonderful Christmas.
There was snow.
An insane quantity by any one's measurement.

We are not used to this level of snow in the Lower Mainland.
The piles were so high it was not uncommon to hear the questions asked;

Where is my car exactly?
There is a garden under there?
Are you sure?

Luckily my emergency prepared husband was vigilant on making sure the drains were clear. At some point this would all disappear in a rainy sludgy mess, and he was ready.Once explained, the neighbor's were quick to follow suit.
When the rain started to come there was no need for random digging through gigantic piles of snow to find the drains on our street.

We had that covered!Which is a good thing. Its getting really wet out there!
Luckily I can hide inside, with my beautiful new camera!

Playing with my favorite new feature! The 1 cm macro mode!
He! He!
I'm really looking forward to spring :)

The simple things.

Winter has been showing her magnificent breath.
Leaving a blanket of innocence, a glimpse of what lie beneath.

A garden. Be it in winter or in summer,
is a beautiful thing.
Kissed by the snow,
she sings.
Winter leaves no house untouched from her sweep.
Every branch supports her endeavour.
The simplest things become..
Enchanting.
The everyday demands notice.
Occasionally applause.

Thank you Marilyn for the use of your camera.

The last pictures.

My camera died yesterday. These were the last pictures I was able to take.
I miss my camera already.
